IBS served a major regional real estate owner/developer as master planner and owner’s representative for the conversion of a four-story former office property into a data center. IBS developed the entire redevelopment master plan, including MEP and structural engineering, architecture, telecommunications infrastructure, power supply and other utilities delivery and then implemented the program as the owner’s representative. In addition, IBS served as the owner’s representative for tenant build-outs. |
IBS also negotiated a land swap with the local power utility that resulted in the company developing a 115MW substation adjacent to the data center, with up to 40MW of redundant power capacity available to the property. The redevelopment encompassed MEP and structural upgrades, life safety and security systems, fiber and utility entry points and distribution, and site work. |
